Coronavirus: Obama criticises Trump administration's virus response
Former US President Barack Obama has criticised Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus crisis.
In an online address of graduating college students, he said the pandemic had shown that many officials "aren't even pretending to be in charge".
This is the second time in recent days that Mr. Obama has hit out at the Trump administration's coronavirus response.
He said it had been "an absolute chaotic disaster" during a leaked conference call last week.
The previous president likewise gave a location to secondary school understudies that was facilitated by NBA star LeBron James and was a piece of a unique program that highlighted various big names including the Jonas Siblings, Megan Rapinoe, Pharrell Williams and instruction dissident Malala Yousafzai.
"More than anything this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they're doing," he said.
"A lot of them aren't even pretending to be in charge," he added.

In excess of 1,200 people have passed away with coronavirus in the US in the course of recent hours, as per the most recent figures from Johns Hopkins College.
The total death toll now stands at almost 89,000, which is the highest anywhere in the world.
