Iran foreign minister challenge trump to return to nuclear deal
DUBAI: Iran's foreign minister challenged the US president Donald Trump the day of Friday to return to the nuclear deal that Washington deserted 2 years ago.
Iran freed Michael White on Thursday as a component of a deal in which the United States permitted Iranian-American doctor Majid Taheri to visit Iran.
Donald Trump tweeted on Thursday of White's release: “Thank you to Iran, it shows a deal is possible!”"
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, tending to Trump, said on Twitter, “We achieved humanitarian swap despite your subordinates’ efforts”..
"We had an arrangement when you entered office. … Your counsels - generally terminated at this point – made a moronic wager. Up to you to choose when you need to fix it."
We achieved humanitarian swap *despite* your subordinates' efforts, @realDonaldTrump— Javad Zarif (@JZarif) June 5, 2020
And we had a deal when you entered office. Iran & other JCPOA participants never left the table.
Your advisors—most fired by now—made a dumb bet.
Up to you to decide *when* you want to fix it. pic.twitter.com/TFg698pWS9
