Emirates has started its scheduled flights from Pakistan and flights from Karachi and Lahore to Dubai started from yesterday.

Emirates has started its scheduled flights from Pakistan and flights from Karachi and Lahore to Dubai started from yesterday. The first scheduled flight from Islamabad will depart on Thursday. The flights came after the lifting of travel bans on the global pepper corona virus for more than two months.

Emirates will operate 14 weekly flights from Pakistan, including seven from Karachi, five from Lahore and two from Islamabad, while the state-of-the-art Boeing 300-777 ER aircraft will be used for travel. Passengers can book tickets for economy and business class. Emirates will also carry cargo to Dubai with UAE nationals on flights from Pakistan.

Only cargo will be brought by the airline on flights from Dubai to Pakistan. Only passengers who comply with the UAE government's entry and eligibility rules will be allowed to travel on these flights.

Emirates Vice President Pakistan Muhammad Sarhan said, "We are very pleased to launch flights from Pakistan and thank the authorities for their arrangements and cooperation.
Emirates has implemented comprehensive measures at every stage of the journey to ensure the safety and health of its customers and staff at all touch points. Passengers traveling with us will find these steps satisfactory. "

 Social distances will be maintained at all the three airports while luggage is also disinfected. There will also be distance between economy class passengers and fewer passengers will line up from the back seat to the front seat.

All cabin crew are fully equipped with personal protective equipment. The crew will offer hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, antibacterial wipes and sanitizers to all passengers. Comfortable items such as mattresses, pillows, blankets and headphones are kept hygienically. Hot meals are served in high quality dishes that are disinfected before each use.

Cabin service assistants ensure that toilets are cleaned every 45 minutes. Toilets contain sanitizing soup and proper hand washing instructions.

Passengers traveling in transit through Dubai International Airport and boarding a second Emirates flight are subjected to thermal screening before departure. At airport transfers, staff at the airport, dressed in personal safety equipment, directly instruct customers to keep a safe distance, in order to co-operate with security barriers.

The airline currently operates daily flights from Karachi, Thursdays and Saturdays from Islamabad and every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from Lahore.
